Change the name on your account
In order to accrue miles without any issues, ConnectMiles recommends members have their name exactly as it appears on their government-issued identification.
To change the name of a ConnectMiles account or to correct a misspelled name, follow these steps:
Step 1: Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information*:
Date of Birth
ConnectMiles also requires you send a scanned version of your government-issued ID which includes your passport, driver’s license, and national ID.
* For security reasons the member must send the request from the registered mail on their account.
Step 2: ConnectMiles will review the request and it will be accepted or rejected according to ConnectMiles’ policies.
Step 3: Once ConnectMiles accepts the request, it will take up to 14 days to be completed.
Spelling of a first name (Example: Diego to Diago)
Spelling of a last name (Example: Celis to Celys)
Changing or correcting a prefix or title (Example: Mr. to Dr.)
Inversion of first, middle, and last names (Example: Ricardo Antonio to Antonio Ricardo)
Changing a name to or from a nickname (Example: Jen to Jennifer)
Adding or deleting your middle name or initial (Example: Daniel A. Méndez to Daniel Andrés Méndez )
All changes will be reviewed by the ConnectMiles team.
